Best Naptime Spots at Disneyland

I’m calling this the blog post nobody asked for but EVERY parent needs.

During one of our past Disneyland days, my toddler (who usually no longer naps) decided to take a midday stroller nap (to be fair, we did end up doing a 13 hour day there!). As I was walking around the park to get more steps in, I realized that I have yet to see a list of the best spots for a nap at Disneyland.

When I say “nap”, I’m meaning a stroller or contact nap for *kids*. Though I have seen a grandpa or two KO’d on a bench.

Here are my top picks for the best spots for a nap at Disneyland!

Galaxy’s Edge

Benches on the way in from Critter Country near Resistance Supply, and the benches near both tunnels heading towards Frontierland and Fantasyland (bonus points for calming music).

New Orleans Square

Benches next to Café Orleans, the churro cart, and Haunted Mansion (when it’s open, TBD if the line layout has changed).

Toontown

There is a spot tucked away in the very back of Toontown, past Mickey’s House and Chip ‘n’ Dale’s Gadgetcoaster. It is covered with benches and calming music.

Hungry Bear Restaurant

Benches under the sign overlooking the water.

Path between Pixie Hollow and Matterhorn

Frontierland

Bench next to Westward Ho Trading Co., near the path from Frontierland to Royal Theatre.
